Q: Do you deliver parcels?

A: No, we specialise in working with our customers to find a delivery partner to facilitate this service.

Q: How do you charge for your consultancy services?

A: We charge for each project on an individual basis with a range of pricing options.

Q: Do you deal with mail both international and domestic?

A: Yes, we work with clients who have requirements for mail delivery in both and will review mail providers on their behalf.

Q: What benefits can you offer my business?

A: Our consultancy is based around what your business needs, your objectives and your requirements. We review all aspects of your distribution and give you an estimated saving when we provide you with a proposal before we work together. Our clients consistently tell us they never have enough time to review this process thoroughly. Through our project management and industry knowledge we are able to deliver improved solutions and cost benefit while ensuring that your time is spent on other equally important areas within your business. This allows us to provide a professional evaluation of your requirement and the appropriate recommendation.

Q: What is the financial benefit of using your services, in other words how much can I expect to save by asking you to manage this project for me?

A: Our clients have different objectives when changing provider, if it is a purely financial change then we will aim to save our clients at least 10% of their annual spend. Savings of upto and including 30% have been made by using various methods including online e-bidding. On average our clients enjoy savings of between 10-20%. We remain realistic with our assessments and will not provide you with a proposal if we feel that you already have the best deal that the market has to offer.

Q: What qualifying criteria do I have to comply with in order for you to work for me?

A: We have two primary services, a full consultancy service which is aimed at high volume shippers and blue-chip organisations that have significant delivery and logistical requirements. The second service is aimed at small to medium businesses and is known as Express, this service is a project driven consultancy with an off the shelf type feeling. Both services are aimed at customers who have very different requirements and give a range of businesses the opportunity to work with a consultancy with a vast amount of experience in the transport and logistics market.

Q: Do you have any links with parcel, pallet or logistics suppliers in terms of agreements or trading arrangements?

A: No, TCS are proud to be independent of any supplier, in each of our consultancy projects we work solely for the client and do not have any financial arrangement with any supplier allowing our recommendation to be totally impartial and free of outside influences.

Q: What happens after the process has been completed?

A: Once our initial recommendations have been made we support you in the implementation of the new supplier, when this process has been completed we help support the contract and manage the relationship between you and the supplier, in short we act as your account manager - for whichever supplier you chose to use.
